Summer 2012

Preschool Graduation.  I am so happy with how Sam finished out the year.  I was worried when he got a note sent home the second week of school.  He pulled through like a champ.  He loved his teachers and they loved him... so they say.

Miss Heidi and Miss Amberlee

Shayleen and family came for 3 weeks this summer.  We had an absolute BLAST with them!  Everyday was filled with adventure.  Steel days, ark City, 24th of July, Jump on it, hiking the G, Bridal Veil Falls, Family Reunion at the Lindon Pool, Scera pool, DiscoveryPark, Humanitarian Center, BBQ's etc..

Daniel took Sam on the Zip line.  I thought he would be yelling waaahoooo, but it freaked him out.

Merry go round

Last year we were just getting moved in and didn't make any of the Lindon Days festivities.  This year however, Kelton "got" to walk in the parade and hand out crap for the fire department.  He wasn't super excited about it, but he did it. And low and behold he was walking right along with the princesses!!! I had a hard time getting him in a picture because a] he didn't want to get one taken b] I may or may not be a little obsessed with a "Miss" anything.

4th of July.  Thank goodness Lucy was still in town for the 4th.  We miss you guys!!!.  Here is the parade from their front yard.  I love the 4th.  I love America!!

I LOVE BASEBALL.  Kelton played on the A's for city league this year, and this was in the state tournament.  He did AWESOME!!! He played a lot of first and third, and pitched some too.  He is growing, and becoming such a great leader.  He is such a consistent player, and fun to watch.  He played on and SuperLeague team as well this summer, and that team wasn't so good. Actually, they SUCKED.  Even though they didn't win a game.  Heck, they didn't lose a game by less than 10.... he still loved it.  It was so hard to go to those games and watch their team get blown out over and over.  I worried Kelton would start to not like the game as much, or get really down, but he was really positive, and was the one who made sure he got to practice. Bless his heart.  here's to fall baseball.  Pleasant Grove ROCKS! A team we wanted to be on for a while. Woot woot!

Kelton's Birthday was the same day as the reunion.  It's crazy to have a teenager now.  Weird weird weird.  He spent the whole day down at the park and pool hanging with family.
WE HAVE A TEENAGER!!! Happy Birthday Kelton.
