No Fear

Shad has been talking about going to Kangaroo Zoo for the last few weeks. We went on Saturday morning. I knew Sam would love it, but didn't think he would be able to climb up the slides on his own. Wrong. He thought the kiddie area was lame. He went in the little blow ups for maybe 10 minutes, the rest of the time was on the big kid slides. His little legs were going so fast he fell a couple times running from one to the next. He threw up after about an hour, but we cleaned it up, got him a drink, and kept playing. Fun times. My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard.

Last week when Sam was climbing up the file cabinet he reached the top, turned around, pulled his pants down and sat on the printer like he was going to pee. Last night he wanted to sit on the potty, so I obliged and he went in it! Now he is refusing to put on a diaper, pull up, or even big boy pants. Good times thinking he is wanting to go in the toilet, but he hardly talks yet. Anyway, I did get the undies on him for about 30 seconds today. Such a cute bum.

like father like son

fyi, Sam put his own hat on.

Flaming Gorge

Shad, Kelton, and uncle Kevin went to Flaming Gorge last weekend. Once they got there they realized the huge fish were spawning, so they didn't catch the big cahunna, but still had a good time. They left Friday, and on Sunday I finally was able to talk to them. I asked if they took pictures, but Shad said the camera wasn't working, something about the memory card latch not closed. I told him through tears of laughter (not really) that he needed to close the latch on the side. HOLY COW! It worked! Here are a few. Kelton took about 30 photos of rocks and mountains, enjoy the scenery.

ROOOOOODY

Happy Birthday yesterday to you! We love you

Halloween and Byu game

Mom and dad had to go to Hawaii, so Kelton and I were able to use their tickets. It has been years since I went to a game, so I was thrilled to go. I asked Kelton if he wanted to take me or Shad-this is the conversation...

me-who do you want to go with you MEEE or dad

kelton-you

me-k, well, you get to see me go crazy singing and dancing to the fight song and cheers. hope you don't get too embarrassed.

kelton-I wonder if dad will feel bad if I don't take him this time?

me-You don't get a choice, I was asking you just to be nice.

kelton-oh. ok, I guess you then.

I was all geared up to go nuts and embarrass the heck out of him (and Michelle and Dave for that matter). The stars must have been MIS-aligned, we got our trashed kicked, and I was only able to sing 3 times (1 beginning of game, half time, and 1 touchdown) Oh how bummed I was. You can tell though from the pictures that Kelton wasn't too thrilled that I brought the camera.

Halloween. I have many many many pictures of Sam this year. I was trying to get some good ones, but had a hard time. Kelton is at the point where he didn't want to do the trunk or treat, and ended up going with the cousins house to house. Shad and I had a relaxing night at home-with 1 trick or treater...
