Baseball

The regular season has ended for the Giants, but we are on to state! Thanks to everyone who has come to support us this year. Sorry I didn't get photo's of you all. He had a great season playing first base and pitching. Oh how I love love love this sport!

side camping story with pics

I really don't know how we got so lucky to catch this series of photos. My camera has a setting to take 3 in quick succession and it was obviously on. Perfect timing.

After looking for the 4-wheeler key to no avail, (kelton put it in his hoodie pocket...) I was thinking of ways we could start it up anyway....
"why can't we use the pull start thing (there is this pull start deal like on a lawn mower)..."
this is answer enough.
I really thought no question was a dumb question





I thought wrong. I guess you still need a key. The "pull thing" is used to start when the batter is dead. Did you all know this?

Camping/Bear Hunting

we..
slept in a tent
missed the drury's
the thompson's slept in their new 29 foot mansion trailer
the tent was actually not bad at all
only got really cold one night
sam slept great
except for saturday night....
the boys chased a bear that they saw in the middle of the road the first night
the boys got up early and went chasing
the girls hung out by the fire
had a ton of junk food
didn't have to pee in the woods
sam learned how boys pee outside
he still can't do it himself
kelton climbed a mountain
i bet he couldn't get to the 2nd ridge, and shad said he would
he did
in less than 30 minutes
the kids and matt made a damn in the creeeek (not crick) with supervisor jason
i washed my hair in said creek
it felt good
missed the drury family
the boys spent half a day looking for one of their own
who hitched a ride back to camp while they were looking for him
had dutch oven
had apple cobbler in the dutch oven
had breakfast burritos a-la dutch oven
wondered why i like hot dogs camping, but not so much at home
went wading in the creek
threw rocks in the creek
sam hung out in the nasty dog box
kelton made toast over the campfire
had strawberry flavored marshmellow smores
played home run derby (and i won-for real)
had awesome helpers with sam-jake, kadi, graycee, sierra, kelton
sam loved playing with the dogs
kelton was an awesome wood gatherer
took a mid-day tent nap
jake doesn't like to get his picture taken
sarinah got a tick on her back
kaydee and gracie both puked the last night in their mansion trailer
sarinah makes the best sloppy joe's (from scratch) ever
we lost the key to the 4 wheeler the first day and couldn't ride at all
the dogs barked horribly and kept the thompsons up most of the first night
sang a little on the wii (high school musical if you must know)
also did a little dancing
didn't stay up too late any of the nights
missed the drury's
hung out with my husband and it was awesome
got to know trent a little better
missed the drurys
got a little sun
had a great time!
