Boys

Kelton starts school next week, the third grade. He got the teacher he wants and is so excited to go back. He is ready to go back. I am so excited for him to learn cursive, and times tables this year. I loved third grade. He had a soccer game on Saturday and he scored 3 goals! I am so happy he has a sport that he loves, now I need to learn the rules a bit better. He is on a team of 3rd and 4th graders, and he and a friend he plays with at recess are probably the best 2. For those of you that saw his first few years of soccer, you know this is huge. He always would stay out on the perimeter and run along side all that was happening. Now he gets in there and does all this fantsy footwork. It is so cool.

Sam has finally started to crawl more than 2 steps(i know that's not right, but you get it) on his knees. He finds it so much faster to do the worm crawl thing. Yesterday he started to go further and further the real way and he is becoming so much quicker. He started pulling himself up on everything last week, including his bed. I love being home to witness all these firsts. However, now I need another one so I can still have a little one.

i had to take the shelf out of the entertainment center because he kept trying to pull up on it, and it kept falling down. now, he can see the hole in the back where the cords are. he was making all kinds of i am so cool sounds when he found this last night.

I have been freezing water in some milk jugs for water storage (i don't think the 20 gallons in the shed is enough). one of them sprung a leak, so i was just defrosting before i threw it out. kelton saw it and said i don't need to do that, and told me why....yes,that is a band-aid.

hashbrowns for dinner, Sam sneezes, and here is a photo of where a lone hashbrown went. when we pulled it out, it was about 2 inches long!

he thinks it's a trampoline under there. but the problem is he can't get himself out.

Oh man, if that hashbrown thing was on camera, it could definitely win on AFV! I'm so glad that Kelton is loving soccer. What a great sport!
