Sam again

I have been trying to get Sam to eat with a utensil for a while now, and it just doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. He holds the spoon in the right hand and will eat with his left. I have been only giving him foods that aren't messy if he's feeding himself, but last night I couldn't let him go without fruit salad....

Side note: Kelton's game was rained out on Sat.... so sad.

Baseball 2009

Today is the opening ceremonies for little league baseball 2009! WOOOOT WOOOT! Kelton got his Yankees uniform on Thursday and we are ready to go! He had a practice game on Monday night, so here are the pictures from that. He played shortstop and pitcher. I think I was more nervous about the pitching than he was. He was throwing a lot of low and outside, then when he accidetnly threw one high and inside and hit the batter, he realized all was going to be ok. After that it was strike after strike. He struck out 1, walked 2, hit 1, the rest hit the ball. It was soo fun. On the batting side, he walked the first time, then stole all the way around! The second time, he had a great hit, but they caught it. If you can't tell, I am sooo excited!

Ride with Grandpa

The boys went on a ride with Grandpa Johnson. Kelton rode all the way to Highland, then after took Sam for a little ride around the block. He loved it and cried when it was time to come in.




Kelton has a practice game tonight for baseball. We are so excited. The coach said he would be pitching......Wish us luck!

Matty's Visit

Yes, long time no post. My hard drive died and the computer I am using in the meantime is pretty slow, and kicks me off constantly. Anyhoo, Sam is doing great. He is back to his normal eating routine (which is all day long). He is finally saying more words. Just today in the car almost every word Kelton and I threw at him he tried to repeat. It was awesome. Kelton is doing good too. He started baseball a couple weeks ago. They held a "draft" for about 100 kids with the coaches walking around watching. He was picked by the Yankees and has had practice three times a week. We are really excited for the season. It's our first year of real little league. WOOHOO. Here are some pics that I have taken the last couple weeks. I will get the Easter pictures up when I get my new computer. Totally kidding. can't get them to upload. Have a good day. lol
