It's 9 on Thursday morning,school started at 8:40 and Kelton is on the couch with Sam. He woke up this morning crying saying he didn't want to go to school today and proceeded to lock himself in the bathroom and yelled "I am NOT coming out!" What to do, what to do? I told him he is going and that is it...Then I realized he is sick. All sorts of sick. Needless to say this child doesn't tell me when he has a tummy ache until it is too late. I don't understand why he doesn't say he doesn't feel well if he doesn't feel good. He doesn't want to inconvenience anyone, he must get it from Shad.
The last week has really been uneventful. On New Years eve, Shad and I had the option of going to a friends house with adults only or staying home. We kept going back and forth on what to do, and when it came down to it we stayed home with Kelton and Sam. We were planning on our own little family New Years party with Kelton. We ended up in bed at 9:30...Sam ended up waking up at 11:30 so I got to catch the new year while Shad and Kelton were cutting z's. It was still fantastic to be together anyway.
Sam has come down with a nasty cold, but is still such a happy boy. He doesn't even care when I suck his nose out with the sucker thing. He just smiles and coos the whole time as the snot comes out. He is having a rough time sleeping since it's hard to breathe with the congestion, but he is happy while he's awake. I can't believe how much he has grown in the last couple weeks. He is now officially in 3-6 month tops, however two pair of the newborn pants still fit, and the 3-6 month bottoms are ridiculously too big. He obviously inherited the Wall legs.
